Overview
VibeFoundry is a directory and planning tool for vibe coding software. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle data.
Analytics
We use privacy-friendly analytics (Plausible Analytics) to understand how people use the site. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and is fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR. All data is aggregated — we cannot identify individual visitors.
Data we collect
- Build plan ideas: When you generate a build plan, the text you enter is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate recommendations. We do not store your ideas after the response is generated.
- Analytics data: Page views, referrer, browser type, and country (via Plausible). No personal identifiers.
Data we do NOT collect
- We do not use cookies or tracking pixels
- We do not collect email addresses (unless you opt into a future newsletter)
- We do not sell or share any data with third parties
- We do not fingerprint browsers
Badge program
Our badge embed program allows tool makers to display a VibeFoundry badge on their website. Badge images are served from our domain. We log standard server access logs (IP, user agent) for these requests but do not use this data for tracking purposes.
Third-party services
- OpenAI: Used to generate build plans. Subject to OpenAI's privacy policy.
- Plausible Analytics: Privacy-friendly analytics. Plausible data policy.
- Vercel: Hosting provider. Vercel privacy policy.
Your rights
Since we collect minimal data with no personal identifiers, there is generally no personal data to request, modify, or delete. If you have questions or concerns, please reach out via our GitHub repository.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
